Felicia died early on the morning of Tuesday 25th February 1997, three days before her ninth birthday.
Her parents, Dave and Jan Hatunen, write:
|
She came into our lives by chance and was instantly a necessary part of our world. She was only a child but had acquired a very adult personality and very sophisticated tastes. Her tastes in music and food were unique for someone her age... as if she needed to live her life in a short period of time. She is gone from our lives but forever lives in our hearts. |
I first met Felicia the first time I met Dave, but my strongest memories are from the week-long holiday that my family had with them in 1995, and the two weeks they spent with us in 1996. In those times, she and my own children were inseparable, and all were sad when they had to part. They still remember her as clearly as they do friends they see every week.
